It is our passion to use eco friendly & fair trade flowers for every wedding, event, and project we work on. Here is a list of the options we use when designing your flowers: |

- We also offer vases made from recycled glass for rent or purchase.
- No chemical preservatives or hydration solutions are used on our flowers.
Favors:
The Herb Plants and Herb Kits used for our “Living Favors” are organically grown and certified. The Tree Seedlings and Native Plants have been selected from suppliers that use sustainable growing practices. The Lucky Bamboo is locally cultivated.
Packaging:
All packaging is compostable, recyclable and made from recycled materials.
- Cellophane used for wrapping and packaging is compostable and non-gmo
- Tissue paper is made from recycled paper
- Ribbon is biodegradable, and coloured with soy inks
- All printing is done on recycled or tree free paper
Green-Practices
We make a strong effort toward minimizing our footprint:
- Website is run using solar powered servers
- Carbon offsetting for our deliveries, imported flowers and supplies
- Recycling, waste reduction and composting
- Biodegradable trash bags used for what is not recyclable or reusable

Education is often the key to responsible choices. Here are a few facts to give you an idea of why it’s so important to buy flowers grown with environmental and social responsibility.
- The floriculture industry uses more pesticides per acre than any other agricultural commodity.
- Many of the chemicals used are unregulated or banned.
- Unlike imported food and seeds, cut flowers coming into Canada are not tested for pesticide residues
- It is estimated that there are as many as 350 million pesticide poisonings each year among agricultural workers.
